Goodbye Verizon, Hello iPhone
Tonight, I ordered this. AT&T’s website has a chat feature that kicks in if you are idle on a page. It’s a pretty good idea and I was helped by a lovely lady in the AT&T chat by the name of Kristin. My only regret is that the Luke Wilson comment went unacknowleged:

Ryan: i have verizon right now on a month to month contract how does that work if i order an iPhone online right now?
Kristin: I'll be happy to assist you with that today.
Kristin: Are you asking how to transfer your number over to the iPhone?
Ryan: the number and the service i suppose ... i currently have verizon at this moment. and i know the phone i order wouldnt be delivered until tomorrow .. would you override the verizon service to the same number or do i need to cancel with them first?
Ryan: and i do get some sort of prize or party because i switch from verizon to at&t? or maybe luke wilson can mention me in the next commerical
Kristin: The phone will deliver on Thursday as it is past 3p.m. EST.
Ryan: ok
Kristin: Let's check to see if your number is eligible for transfer ok?

Ryan: should I worry about this "map"/network nonsense or is that just smoke on the water?

Ryan: Well maybe I wont have any problems
